    • Multiple bucket range templates, which define time periods for forecast loading, can be created and saved. Individual forecast spreadsheets can be linked with a “bucket range” template which means that for example it is easy to load near term forecasts in monthly or weekly buckets and further out forecasts in quarterly buckets. Once the bucket range templates are created they can be paired with any selected spreadsheet based on a forecast ID. The Forecast ID represents a profile for forecast loading including parameters for netting, deleting existing forecasts and drill down options. Each spreadsheet has a forecast ID which determines how it will be treated when loading the forecast.
    • Forecast spreadsheets can be generated from sales and forecast history by selecting a date range, filtering by planner, commodity, account type and/or part ID ranges and adding a growth or shrinkage factor by year. Once the spread sheet is generated it can be massaged as needed but is ready as is to be loaded into MAX.
    • Spreadsheets can be opened from within the Advanced Forecast application, modified, saved and loaded.
    • Forecast Analysis has been simplified to extract sales and forecast data into a simple to use summary table for easy reporting.

The primary purpose for these enhancements is to make it easier to create, load and manage forecast orders in MAX. This tool is a time saver which can load thousands of forecast entries in a few minutes.
