The MAX Data Collection Monitor provides an interface to MAX for processing transactions, requesting documents and labels, and adding kanban requests, and is designed for quick scanned entry from a variety of client devices including wireless hand-helds.
The MAX Data Collection Monitor supports all of the MAX Transactions and can be configured to incorporate specific process elements into the transaction processing such as label printing and email alerts.
The base software provides a platform for communicating to client devices and making calls to MAX. Screens can be configured to accomplish a variety of special tasks along with the standard MAX transactions.
The MAX data Collection Monitor can be installed on the MAX server or any PC connected to the network. The monitor software is installed once and functions as server to the client devices which can be a mix of windows or non-windows hand-helds, PC’s, and thin client devices.
BPTettings.DLL - the copy of the 2 MAX DLL’s (ERMREMCL.DLL, EXACTRMENC.DLL) - had been commented out. The check and copy function has been restored, so the files will be compared at startup and updated if there are new versions in the MAX client folder.

During backflush, in case of a shortage, if the commodity code of a component that is short is FOFORM and FOMANL, process an inventory adjustment for the qty short and complete the backflush operation. Enter in the reference field “PRINTED IN HOUSE”
Developed a copy of screen 790 that will behave exactly the same as screen 790 with the exception that instead of processing an inventory adjustment, if there is not sufficient inventory in the backflush location issue the qty short from the default stock location. For parts with the commodity codes FOLABL, FOFORM and FOMANL process them exactly the same as screen 790.
Create a screen that will allow the user to specify a part number, qty, a stock id and whether or not to backflush and receive the part (Y/N field). If the backflush option is not specified, the screen will create a work order and print shop paper work. If the backflush option is specified, the screen will backflush receive the part. Can we use a field in the part master to limit the quantity for the shop order? My thought is to use the ROQ quantity this way we have control so the operator cannot create a huge shop order that will keep them going for months. If the ROQ is zero then an error will display: “CHECK WITH SUPERVISOR”.
