Document Manager

Document Manager automates communications with customers. Allows customer to select whether to receive emailed sales documents or mailed documents. Easily batch process either the emailed documents or the printed documents.

Save time, improve customer service, and accelerate cash receipts by automating the emailing of sales orders and invoices to customers.

Document Manager users can set up multiple recipients for each customer and select which sales documents each recipient is to receive.  They can format separate email messages for the invoice and the sales order.  Then at the end of the day or periodically throughout the day they can batch email the sales documents.  History of sent documents is maintained so documents can be easily resent.  Paper documents can be printed for customers not receiving emailed documents.

Document Manager 2015 is a browser based application with the following requirements.

  • .Net Framework 4.5
  • IIS 7 or later
  • ASP.NET 4.0 or later installed and enabled
  • SQL Server 2008 R2 or later
  • SQL Server Report Server
  • Message Queue
  • SMTP Server
  • Active Directory user accounts.
  • SQL Server user account with read and write permissions in SQL
  • A user account for the Document Manager Service
  • It is preferable that this account has administrative privileges
  • The user account must have read and write permissions to its folder and to the folder where the attachments will be stored
  • MAX Workbench

Starting with Document Manager 2015 a BP Customer Care plan will be available to provide application updates and technical support.
